Does your world revolve around your computer? Are you addicted to your computer and the Internet?
Computing is not about computers anymore. The internet has changed the way people get and distribute information. It is estimated that more than 150 million users are linked to the Internet. The number of users doubled annually in the 1990s, making it the fastest-growing communications medium in history. Many of these users have become addicts.

Do you think you could leave the world the way it is today and go back twenty years? Doesn't sound so hard, but when you really think about it, we don't think you could. With advancing technology, life is dramatically different from what our parents knew. When in school they actually went to the library to do research. When vacationing, they called a travel agent. To buy Christmas gifts they had to fight the rush at the stores. Their banking was actually done AT the bank. When they were sick, they went to the doctor. Now-a-days people have it made (depending on who you ask). The time of going to the library to research a topic, is in the past. Almost eveything you need to know and do is now accessable via computers and the internet. You can shop, refill prescriptions, do your banking and even find a date online. Life has become so convient, that many are actually addicted to their computer and the Internet.

This site will show how easy it is to do everyday functions from your own home or office. There are many links to other sites such as libraries, banks, vacation spots and many more.

Internet addiction (also known as 'pathological Internet use') is a disorder that affects millions of Internet users throughout the world. Often, people joke about being addicted to the Net, but most people don't realize that there are people out there who are essentially slaves to their computers. Often times they miss work or school, spend hours and hours online, and participate in various online activities that end up affecting their own offline worlds. Make no mistake about it, Internet addiction is real, and chances are good that someone you know has it.!
